Perhaps we need background checks for baseball bats.
Anyway, these are truly horrible people. They should not have the opportunity to hurt anyone else again. (Yes that means kill them). Locking them in prison gives them plenty of opportunity to kill other inmates and guards. With this as a record of what's acceptable to them, does anyone doubt that they could/would kill again?
