Whey > Soy, thats not to say that soy should not be in your diet but whey is best post workout, due to the fact that it is the quickest digesting protein and can leave the stomach/be processed faster.

There have been many studies on soy and to say its terrible is dumb, it is a complete protein and all studies done on it are in obscene doses of soy scaled to bodyweight. As long as soy is a small part of your diet it is a good part of your diet but, soy if consumed in large quantities has been shown to raise estrogen levels (were talking like 100 G + a day), and also have some negative effects on some body functions. In small quantities (25G<), I have never read of any side effects from soy and have never had any issues with it either (my little tortillas have soy^^)

Personally, use all kinds of protein and to much of one type of protein is generally bad (except egg whites and chicken cause I'de be screwed :P), so mix it up casein, soy, whey, egg, lean meats - They all have their benefits and some have more downfalls then others but thats not to say that they don't have room in your diet. As long as their complete proteins I really wouldn't be to concerned.
