While I wouldn't bring outside food to a restaurant for my kids and I rarely if ever have seen it done, I don't see it as such a big deal. I can't think of a menu that I've seen over the years that didn't have something for children. Maybe these parents should be choosing a different place to eat if they feel there is nothing on the menu for their kids.
I've been lucky in that my two girls are well behaved and aren't picky at all when it comes to food selection.
Ok, I'm done; carry on with the hate fest

It's not a child-hating thread, or at least didn't start at one. It's about the appalling lack of parenting that many people take. They don't even have control of their own children and let their children run roughshod over them. It's not the child's fault, but it
is the parents'. It's the parents pandering to children and letting children make the decisions for them rather than the parents asserting their parental perrogative and actually being the head of their households.
And you're not lucky for having well-behaved children--it's your own damned fault
