I agree with Silverbrain.
My Dad had a computer, and he said that his internet connection wasn't working.
I decide to run a virus scan, Norton picks up some trojans.
Then I try Spybot, it finds a few problem files.
Still the internet connection is not working. I finally decide to d/l spysweeper, since I had seen it in a magazine.
As soon as I run it, things are popping out of the woodwork. 40 traces of spyware, 24 trojans. And if you include, the 4 that Norton picked up, that brings us to 28 trojans.
After all that was cleaned everything was fixed.
Whenever, anyone has a problem w/ spyware, one of the first programs I recommend is spysweeper.
