i have a 2.5 yr old iRiver IMP-350.
Still works awesome, uses nicad + AA batteries (w/ lil container thign). Has a cool LCD remote as well, that shows song name, and allows navigation
Paid about 300 CDN back then, i saw some for 140 cdn new a few months back so im sure it can be had for pretty cheap american.
Dont know what else to say, works great, no problems yet. Maybe read some reviews online.
