here in hicksville, IN we pay $8.00 for eveining shows, the last showing of the night is usually $6.00.
When visiting a (now ex) girlfriend in NYC a few years ago Tickets for matinee were $10.00, kids were $8.00, eveing shows were $12.50. I imagine they have gone up since then.
