I'm gonna bump this thread back to the top since the movie is now really, really close to release. I think the opinion that this movie is gonna be a knuckle-draggingly stupid and mentally challenging affair has been run into the ground, but I gotta say this: every role that I've ever seen Halle Berry in has been 2 things - 1) hot. She's fucking hot. No getting around it. 2) Every movie she's in has a line that makes me cringe and grind my teeth at. It holds true for just about every movie she's been in. Swordfish - "I'm not here to suck your dick, Stan." WHY? That's fucking terrible! X-Men - "You know what happens to a toad that gets struck by lightning? The same thing that happens to everything else." FUCK. Tomorrow Never Dies - "Yo mama!" Christ. That's great. Catwoman - "Meeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
ooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooowwwwwwww." DAMMIT. Is it just me, or do script writers give her the WORST.LINES.EVER? It must be that, or maybe it's just the way she delivers them. I'm sure that a movie that stars Halle Berry as the main actress like a comic book movie will be chock-full of quotable quotes, but none shall be able to exceed the measure of suck that this movie will achieve.
