Fake Japanese Cabbage Salad
1 medium head cabbage, shredded
3 or 4 carrots, shredded
small handful toasted sesame seeds
Large handful toasted slivered almonds
1 package of ramen noodles (crushed) (or use the Chinese Chow Mein Noodles)
Dressing:
equal parts rice vinegar and vegetable oil
1/2 tsp salt
2 tbsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. pepper
3 tsp. ginger root, grated (less if you like)
Add the noodles at the very end so they stay crunchy
