How sad and irresponsible.

I'm a fanatic about seat belt wearing.
This is because when I was 7 or 8 I lost a very close cousin to a car crash. She wasn't wearing a seat belt. The driver had just gotten her license that day and was driving a car full of kids to church. The only one that survived was the passenger (who was wearing a seat belt.)
When I'm driving and see little kids up and about inside moving vehicles I always wonder what the hell the parents are thinking. It's dangerous to have them unbelted but even more dangerous because moving, rambunctious little kids is a big distraction while driving. I'm glad Michigan is finally enforcing the "click it or ticket" law. Hopefully it will stop some unnecessary accidents.
