I like the Magnum. Maybe not specifically the car as much as what it represents. With city streets being ever more congested by the likes of minivans and SUVs, it's high time people realize that a station wagon will adequately suit their needs while still being a cool thing around town. They'll get better gas mileage, better performance, better safety and better looks.
Seeing it off on its own, or part of the oncoming traffic, the magnum looks pretty sweet, plus it has power to back it up. But every time I try giving it hard honest look, the styling that at first caught my eye and whetted my appetite soon begins to grate on me. Too bulky, too overt, too inharmonious. So while it may not so much be for me, I really like what it is.
As for Volvo... well... nobody does "station wagon" like Volvo does. From its sloping nose to its broad shoulders to a (hopefully) roofrack-less top, no other wagon flows as well as the V70 while providing more than ample power, way comfortable seats, and copious storage space.
