forget the quick fix diet. you can use it as a starter to get you motivated and all but really you need proper nutrition.
if you go on a diet like that im sure you will lose weight. i did and it worked for me. but instead of being 210lbs and fat i was 180lbs and fat. i was skinny fat. i lost alot of muscle and kept some of the fat.
i would highly recommed heading over to
www.bodybuilding.com and read the nutrition section. you need to watch your sugars, high GI carbs, and make sure you are getting a good split of protein, carbs, and fat.
also dont worry about eating before bed. your body needs to repair itself when you are sleep and needs the proper nutrition. just keeps the carbs low, a good amount of protein and leave out the sugar.
