when he was here with AZ, he really didnt get that much respect, nor did he give it. he wanted to be a starter, which i dont blame him, he was in Korea....but when he pitched for us, it just didnt seem like he cared. it was almost like "why the fuck do i have to do this shit, i'm better than that" and it showed. IF he had worked his hardest and given Brenly the respect he deserved it would have been resiprocated.
he's also got a big fucking attitude. it was much like he didnt care if the team won, as long as he looked good. he gave the finger the the Boston fans during a game (big no no). sure the kid has talent, a lot of players do....but what kind of "bad boy" gets good press coverage. AI gets shit, so does R Wallace, the whole Trailblazers for that matter.
but this kid did have some MAD TALENT. at 25 he's recorded 453 Ks in 414 innings and for his career and an ERA under 3.33. i personally think that this kid should have been given more of a chance with us. he could have proved himself, and really wanted to. i feel bad for him in a way, but i also dont like the attitude.
