damn right! here's my version... i think i was gonna call it "theory of universal equivalent stupidity" or something ...
1) if you pick any subgroup of the population you will find the asshole/non-asshole ratio is the same as any other subgroup
2) anyone who starts generalizing that whole groups are assholes are likely as not an asshole themselves - hence their opinion is worthless
it works for me ... i need to do some more research on republicans and taxi-drivers before I'm sure though
