Sure, sure, everything you guys said is all correct so please don't make the mistake of buying a stupid gutless Supra, leave them for us stupidos. I can tell you guys are real knowledgeable about these cars ...and I'm talking about the "car" here not some owners who think these are museum pieces or car show fixtures.
Kurant,
you can find a quite nice MkIV (latest version) Supra for way under $30k, I'd say average low to mid $20k's. I just checked my local Northeast area Supra forum and the national forum and there are several nice ones for sale. Btw, I don't know what area or country you are from but if you're not too far, I've been at Pocono and Watkins Glen several times over the last few years with local BMW club racers so you should come join me and your BMW buddies to see what's what.
And if any of you want to show me how much better and faster your car will handle on a road course than my "dynoqueen", and how bad my suspension is at putting power to the ground, please come to Pocono on June 19 and 20, you can sign up here
http://www.imp-auto.com/pda/pages/schedules.htm It's a huge lot of fun and you'll learn how to drive your car properly.
And last but not least: "The suspension just isn't setup to put the power to the pavement" ...hahahahhhhaaa that is the best one I've heard in a long time
