are the top 3 things I would say.
I'm on the fence with "no room for growth", it's fine really but it sounds just a little negative to me. But I do understand the thought and reasoning behind the suggestion. It's often the truth!! But it seems to be that you don't leave just because there's no room for growth -- there has got to be a better opportunity to prompt you to leave.
I was stuck in a dead-end shit job for 3 years, where there was no room for growth whatsoever. I was actually LOSING money working that that hole, but not nearly as much as if I'd just up and quit because I couldn't advance myself at all. And that is indeed the reason why I left -- no room for growth -- but I only left once I found a better opportunity

While it does seem negative, it is very positive. It says if not screams,"I am ambitious!"
There are some people out there who are just fine in their situation to "sit pretty" because they don't care about their growth, they aren't persuing any thing but just wanting to collect their paycheck.
I managed a person mid 50's 2 kids on their way to college, he had a good side business, but needed something that gave him good income and benefits. So he worked with us for over 5 years in a dead end position. He still would be there today if there wasn't a massive reorg that pushed him into another direction.
Now speaking for myself, I currently don't care about my growth at this time. I want to "sit pretty" since the project I was hired as my primary responsibility was slated to run 2 years, I'm at midpoint and I know that the project is going to run at least another 1-2 years over that. My boss, isn't going anywhere either, so I'm definitely in a dead end spot for the moment.
now... jumping ship because there is no room for growth and sitting at home unemployed is just stupid. And there are some people that do that because there's "no room for growth" and that should be apparent too because they will have a gap in their work experience if they weren't lucky enought to get a job within a months time frame.
