Count me in; but personally don't want to do a poll, etc. I think that Amethyst (being the originator of this idea) should name the first book. We can read it if we want and if not, no loss. Once she is done reading, or as she is reading, she starts a thread on it and we add on. From there, one of the contributers names the next book and the cycle continues. That way it stays low key and we won't feel pressure to read from month to month if something comes up.
(This worked for me in a book club I formed in town -- which petered out when I moved. Speaking of, I should get it going again if this doesn't work.)
