I am one of those boil then just so long and then drain them types - I can't stand it when they are boiled to death, all slimy and lifeless. And I've never seen anyone else crumble them in the package, add the sauce mix, and eat them dry - I thought I was the only one!!!

I work with a family of Koreans at a sushi resteraunt, and the things they do with ramen are fucking spectacular. I'll work them for the recipe....
In the meantime, my personal favorite is Chicken ramen, a little bit of frozen spinach, and a slice of american cheese, all boiled together. It makes a delicious cheesey broth and requires no extra work.
