crossing my fingers--mccain and kerry agree on international issues in general. it's domestic policy (particularly highly-political issues such as abortion) that would cause sparks in the relationship. so mccain as sec of defense makes good sense, if he actually agrees to it!! i like mccain too--i figure integrity and commitment to public service is 100 times more important than the so-called issues.
