wouldn't change my vote by any stretch of the imagination (surprise surprise eh?  ). but, were kerry to win the election i would be pleased with the choice.
the unspoken premise is that kerry is pleased with mccain's defense record and philosophy. how does mccain's record compare with kerry's?
