I went to AutoZone the other day to get a shift knob to replace the badly worn one on my T-Bird. I had to look all over to find one that didn't light up, wasn't made out of fake chrome/aluminum/carbon fiber, wasn't bright red or yellow, etc. Finally way in the back I found one that's just normal black leather. But they couldn't even totally leave it alone, it's shaped in some goofy way to look "cool" but in reality it just looks rather dumb and is uncomfortable. I wish this rice crap would go away so I can buy normal parts again.
