yep. I think it's doing straight-to-DVD or something though. or coming packaged with a similar product (videogame or something like that). sounds like a bad idea.

I found Tivo'd it and watched the first 30 minutes of it. I had some high hopes for it because Phil Tippet was involved. Well, he was the director. But it sucked. I liked the first movie very much in fact I watch it at work all the time.
according to imdb.com it was slated for a direct to TV release in April 2004.
