Man, I've always been the type that can just go up and say "Hi, what's your name?" It works dude, unless she's a total bitch, she's not going to tell you to fuck off. She'll at least be nice about rejecting you. Its nothing to be afraid of.
But I tell you, a wingman is a BIG help, IMO. I always like to go "bootyhunting" with a good friend. It makes approaching women so much easier.
