Obviously Wells Fargo is at fault.
Here is my Wells Fargo horror story. I deposited a check from my parents for around $3000 into my checking account so that I could pay for tuition, rent, etc. I deposit the check at the Wells Fargo bank and everything seems fine. I then write the checks for my rent and tuition and put them in the mail, assuming that my deposit had gone through. Except one thing: the deposit didn't go through. Someone in the bank had somhow screwed up and the check was held for around 5 days. Luckily for me the checks I had written were not cashed or I would of even had a bigger headache.
This is not the only problem I have had with them, but those are long stories. I am very close to pulling my money out of Wells Fargo and I would advise anyone who might be looking to set up a new account to look elsewhere.
