will your research be qualitative or quanitiative? I think you HAVE to get some quantitative data into that study. get a few willing test subjects. it should be quite interesting...
I would actually have volunteered.
I have much the same experience as lunchbox7. My solution: have less intense sex before a game ( i play soccer). It helps with tension-relief and aids my flexibility. Great sex takes away my competitive edge and lowers my pain threshold as well. But a light round in the sack on match-morning actually increases my hunger and increases the killer instinct. I think its just a hormonal thing.
