I never make friends with any of my bosses for this very reason. They get comfortable and feel that they can poke fun, then if you do the same to them they pull rank. It's fucked up, and it happens alot since I'm a nice guy

. Seriously tho, people like that suck. It is too bad it had to come to that for you, and I salute you for sticking up for yourself. I learned a long time ago that letting people walk over you gets you nowhere, and it definetly did cost me my most recent job, but who gives a shit. It is just a job.
