Well I called corp about seeing if they would work with me on the change in rent being so sudden. Nope - they wouldn't work and started claiming that I owed $55 for a late fee from back in July of 2003. They never sent a letter or notified us of it so I will have to see what we need to do.
Then she starts lying about what she had told me before. I simply repeated what she had told me verbatum before. She contradicted me until I repeated it the 3rd time and then said "Well I'm sorry if I misinformed you." Then she lies about when she and K had arrived last Friday when someone came to my door to see an apt. My clock said 1:15 when I saw them getting out her K's car. She was adamant that it was 1:02. I repeated myself 3 times then as well and finally she said "Well maybe it was 1:10 but traffic was bad and we couldn't get there right on time. Traffic - in Wisconsin?? From Rhinelander? There are no towns bigger than 7,000 between Rhinelander and our town.
Needless to say I was upset. IF anyone crosses my path looking to move in here I will direct them elseware. For one I'm not going to help this corporation anymore, and two I don't want to put anyone else through the stress that these people can inflict.
Beyond that - I'm trying very hard to ignore my thoughts when they come up about the company. Trying very hard to conciously relax. And refusing to allow their cheating and lying to upset me anymore than it has.
