Yesterday while I at work this lady was talking to another couple who had a baby. The lady told the couple that she would be a grandmother soon.
A few minutes later I called this lady "ma'am" and she immediatly told me not to call her ma'am, because it makes her feel old. She then went on to say that she probably wasn't even older than me. I'm 21.
I don't know who this lady was trying to fool, but she did not look like she was even in her 30's, much less early 20s
(And I don't look like I could *possibly* be a grandfather any time soon)
