There are a couple of problems with habitual lying:
- You have to keep track of the lies you told and the more you tell the harder this is.
- People catch on and start questioning you when you are telling the truth.
- The more you lie, the easier it becomes.
So I try very hard not to lie, even when it would make my life a little easier and chances are I won't get caught.
