i agree with you..
My last project started off in Jbuilder(linux)..
ended up doing most of the coding in Kwrite which was surprizingly nice
it had snytax highlighting for J, and it had scope collapsing which just makes any file 1000lines+ so much easier to deal with
and for madcow's sake..
my partner was using emacs
