For some good quick research on an individual stock I use Yahoo! Finance.

My favorite site for learning about trading and investing is RealMoney.com. That one's a pay site, but it's sister site TheStreet.com is free. I read RealMoney all day long as I trade.

If you're interested in a relatively contrarian view check out Bill Fleckenstein's site: www. fleckensteincapital.com . He's got the best insights into precious metals that I've seen.

Finally, if you're serious about your charting I would go with Worden Brothers TC2000, which requires a subscription and runs off a CD in your computer.
