Plastic is a very broad range. Just pointing to one type of plastic and saying "DANGER!" without mentioning that other types are fine is worthy of correction.
It was the phrasing of your warning that made me blow up. I shouldn't of. My bad on top of your bad.

If you wanted to warn you have gone withsomething like "hey, plastic can be cool, but watch out for acrylic. Specifically, make sure you don't put acrylic into a healing wound - it can turn nasty. There are plenty of other types of plastic jewelry which are completely fine though. Buy your stuff from a piercing establishment, not from ma'n'pa's house of novelties."
