Gotta say, in my mid-30's........really short hair with or without the thinning......is so much easier. No prep time. No hassles. No expensive product. And not a bad look. If the hair is going.....let it go with dignity.
That being said, if you are nervous about the impact of product on your hair or health, stop using it. No hairstyle is worth real or suspected harm to your health. Go natural.
