I too learned about cognitive dissonance in my management class a few weeks ago. Cognitive dissoance refers to any incompatibility or inconsistency between attitudes or between behaviour and attitutudes. His example can relate to cognitive dissonance, but if I was teaching it to someone I wouldnt use it as an example. An example of cognitive dissonance is someone who tells their kids to brush their teeth after every meal but doesnt brush them themselves.
I just combined studying with surfing TFP. yay!
