I think the trick is that somehow the Sims creators have managed to hide the fact that all this is is a video game version of playing dolls. If more people figured that out, I think the only people interested in it would be girls up to 10 years old

I agree. Itd just be so much better if your character could think for himself. Just like in sim city where you dont have to micromanage the construction of every single building, you shouldnt have to micromanage him going peeing and then flushing the toilet. Talk about fun. I think thats what turned me away from game the most.
