There's no problem with that. Plan on a big picnic. There are benches and grilles up above the beach area. It's a great family atmosphere and you'll have plenty of beach to yourself, as a rule.

I'm glad I was able to help and don't hesitate to ask anymore questions if something else comes to mind. I haven't even told you about an incredibly cheap day boat trip you can take from Pine Island to Cabbage Key and on to Cayo Costa and back to Pine Island for $25.00 a head. An incredible adventure and a cheap way to spend the day exploring some of our islands on the Lee Island Coast.
