I like the bumper sticker too -- it states very clearly what I believe; which is there is good to be found in every world religion.
Why I don't care for Bible thumpers -- simple, I do not care to be judged. The only true judge should be God herself. She is the only one who has the right to condem me to hell or welcome me to heaven. In-the-meantime, it is up to me to discover my way, not someone else.
I've had way too many Bible-thumpers pass judgement on me over the years, so admittedly I tend to put my "defenses up."
IMHO, Lebell is correct, the best way to convert is to live the Gospel. He does just that, and as a result, I'm returning to a Christain church -- something I never thought I'd do.
