I've heard this theory! I know that most of my gay friends desire a ragtop Jeep above all other cars. Also, in the Showtime series Queer As Folk, there was an episode that involved this theory.
As for Jeep drivers being hot women: my friends and I have discussed this before, and it's definitely true!
