Just for the record, Hayden Christenson is a good actor, he just didn't give 100% as Anakin, he is NOT devoid of talent.
And the Han and Chewie meet up is EU (expanded Universe) and Lucas doesn't give ashit about it EU and will do what he wants (unfortunately).
Lucas doesn't realise that EU is giving him big bucks, the least he could do is respect their ideas.
And as for Lucas not being able to direct, you're absolutely right. GIVE IT TO SPIELBERG DAMN IT!
