The Last Song, by Roy Orbison
When I was growing up, high school, most proms, etc. here in Houston would end up the evening by playing this song, recorded by a local singer named. I believe, Gene Thomas. He had a local hit with this one and another Roy Orbison song called "Baby's Gone Away".
To my knowledge, Orbison never sang either of these.
I was just wondering if this song was strictly a local Houston phenomenon, or if people in other parts of the US were aware of this song, too. It is really classic.
