In honor of Weird Al's new album...here's a classic.
And perfect for Adult Science Jokes
    White & Nerdy

Geez, I've got to have done at least 90% of what's sang in there.
Ok, to be honest, 32 of 47, so 68.1% (find a vid with the lyrics, count them off...)
No use being a Geek, unless you can prove it.

BTW...he's revealing all 8 of his new vids on Nerdist.com starting with "Tacky" everyday throughout the week.

Problem is...you won't know which one you're in until you're in the middle of it
and ironically, then it's "too late". ;)

Me? I'd either go back and bitch-slap myself,
Or I'd go back and see Jesus, what happened and really piss some people off,

...OR I'd create clones of the Founding Fathers go back, steal them from their deathbed, replace them with aged clones,
come back, transplant their brains into young clones (mid-20s) and release them to the world...and ask them what they think of now.
But you know...an opposition group would probably try to screw us up with an Aaron Burr and Benedict Arnold clones. Those unoriginal assholes.
    It's always something...

There are some time travel stories where you can only travel back as far as you've been alive and then only in your consciousness.
In other words, you can drop your adult mind into your teenage body.
It seems like that would be great, that you would be able to make better decisions but if it was only for short windows of time and you didn't know what the future would be when you get back would it be a good idea?

    Jamming. ;)
Yes, the perfect jam is waiting for me to find it...but there are not TOO many jams either.

Closer to the idea behind the Quantum Leap Project, or how it would have worked if Dr. Beckett had not rushed things due to an impending loss of funding. In that case you can only travel back within your lifetime and even then only as a holographic observer unable to alter things; the state that Sam sees Rear Adm Calavicci for all but one episode where they switch places*. Obviously that would have been far less interesting television wise but would be a fascinating project if it was real.
In one of the Quantum Leap books (where Sam just changes his mind/swiss cheeses memories/etc with the subject but has their body's strengths and limitations to contend with) they say that the annual power bill for the facility is more than the bill for the entire state of New Mexico in the same time frame.

*and the finale yes, but that is an exception and creates a new timeline by itself that negates everything you have seen over the course of the show.

    Payday folks.
TGIF...go out and enjoy spending your well earned money...meanwhile they're updating a pay science episode for the new Cosmos,
because there's got to be a scientific connection between money in your account...and balance in the Universe. ;)

There was a farmer that was having trouble with a cow that didn't produce good milk. The farmer decided that he'd hire three experts to figure out what was wrong with the cow. He hired and psychiatrist, engineer and a physicist, and gives them each a day with the cow.

After the first day, the psychiatrist comes to the farmer and explains that the cow is not happy inside the barn, and that the inside of the barn should be painted green, so that the cow will feel more at home.

The farmer isn't sure so he asks the engineer to give it a try.
After the second day the engineer comes to the farmer and tells him that the cow isn't being milked efficently, and gives him draftings of a very efficent milking machine.

Still not convinced, the farmer asks the physicist.
After a day of study the physicist goes to see the farmer. The physicist walks to a chalkboard and draws a big circle and says "Imagine the cow is a sphere..."

    Moo...Monday. Imagine it a sphere... :p
