Okay, So i used to watch Desperate Housewives but then I started missing episodes and eventually altogether stopped watching it. Now they're showing commercials for this new season coming this sunday and I really want to watch it! But I need to catch up. I know what the last episode was I saw, but heres the problem. I can't find a site to watch them on!

Every site I look at either needs something downloaded in order to watch it or only has 90 second previews of the episodes. And I know it says you can watch the episodes on abc, but it only has season one on there. SO, does anyone know a site where I can watch these episodes and not have to download anything or just get a 90 second preview? haha. thanks :)

  2. Not sure about the shows you're referring to but I've been quite pleased with http://www.justin.tv/ and http://www.sopcast.org/

SopCast requires downloading a plug in. I've watched PPV boxing matches on it. There are usually a ton of choices for viewing, not just sports. I'll occassionally watch the BBC feed for Formula 1 broadcasts on justin.tv Usually I'll find it listed on justin.tv, go to that page and find it refers to another website. That website is never the same race to race as it is not entirely legal to restream these broadcasts.

my computers already a piece of crap. I don't wanna download anything that may cause viruses. and justin.tv didn't have my show.
i mean it did, but it doesnt which episode is which. so its like completely out of order for me. but thanks anyway

  4. The SopCast download is a plug in for Windows Media Player, I believe.

Never had a problem with it, but I do understand your concern.

Check out SideReel. It lists online links to most tv shows, but you still need to be careful and use a good virus protection program like Avast! to keep from picking up trojans on some of the links.

If you are willing to pay money, then Amazon Instant Video is the way to go. It has most popular shows in HD, and you can either buy per episode (.99 and up) or get a season pass, which gets more expensive the newer the season.

thanks. i know im gnna sound really cheap, but i just dont wanna spend the money. i know itll only be (like you said) .99 and up, but im trying to save my money so for me right now...every penny counts.
I think im just gonna put the seasons i missed on my christmas list. xD

i triedx sidereel once before and it only gave me certain episodes from the season. so i had to give up on that one.

  7. Have you considered downloading shows from newsgroups? I know that is possible and most shows appear shortly after broadcast, not sure how it is done, however.

For downloads I use Direct Connect. Its a little tricky to set up, especially if you don't know how to open ports on your router (assuming you have a router). Once connected, there are usually thousands of people to dl from, and they should have most of the popular shows. The only problem I run into is that alot of the hubs are European, and I often accidentally dl shows with foreign voice tracks.

Don't know if this will work in the States, but if you are interested in the TV we get (which includes a lot of US shows), you could try http://www.tvcatchup.com/

I use http://tv.blinkx.com/ They have links to several different places to watch individual episodes, with several servers that host them.
