What cause of death is this? Decoding doctor's handwriting

    This fellow died in 1970, apparently of some kind of cancer which spread to his bones ("with generalized skeletal metastasis").

    But what is that first word?

    Ah, easier than I thought: it appears to be "hypernephroma", a now-deprecated term for renal cell carcinoma.
