    Something strange...when I was much younger I would've laughed at the idea of listening to Tony, Ella, Frank, etc.

    Tony's passing is sad, yet a blessing given his Alzheimers.

    Actually, I became more of a fan of his in his later years.
    Especially when he started having appearances on TV and movies.

    He always seemed like a very nice and sincere guy, ready to get along.
    and then he'd just whip out these amazing tunes, without any sweat, very casual...but "ready for record" level voice.
    Amazing ability and a very good person.

    RIP crooner with a ready smile.
    You may the world enjoyable for a time, a bit here and there.
