I couldn't find the 'guitar porn' thread, so I started a new thread.

This is a fun way to check out a wide variety of pickgurds on a wide variety of finishes. If you go to the main site you'll find other PGs for other models of guitars. It takes a little time to get used to, but it's worth it IMO. FTR, I have no $$ affiliation with Greasy Groove other than buying from them.

If the link works correctly, the guitar you'll see looks very much like my Fernandes LE-2. Which is a Made in Japan stratocopy that is basically a MIJ Fender Stratocoaster but with a different headstock shape and no parts stamped or labelled as Fender.

I'll try the link first, then add some comments via editing.

EDIT--The link doesn't show what I have. If you select the Mojo Moon PG on the Tobacco Burst finish, you'll see basically what I have. I also purchased the strips that go on the pick-up covers to match the PG, and went with black PU covers, knobs, & selector tip.

The above link was showing the Selector part of their site, but now isn't showing it. I'll try again.

About once every two years I debate for a week or two if I should try to learn to play the guitar.

I took a couple of years of piano lessons as a kid, but have no real musical training other than that. And as far as I know, no musical talent.

Go used if you're just wanting to test the water. I have no musical aptitude, I just wanted to 'dress up' the Fernandes a bit. One of these days I'll get some good photos of it. If I try to use my new phone, it could be several years before I figure out how.

I've tried a few times but could never seem to "get" it, I'm thinking of giving it another shot with a lefty.

Give me a shout if decide to try lefty. I've sold off a few LH guitars (a long story that I've previously posted) but still have a couple.
