I'm mike, 38 single, retired army and looking to get to know a woman who would like a loyal dependable man to talk to for the purposes of friendship and then dating. I'm currently in south georgia, but plan on traveling in 4 years. If any ladies would like to know more, please send me a pm. Thanks

First of all, why not look to meet someone that you can see and talk to face-to-face right there in South Georgia? Avoid the possibility of catfishing online.

Speaking as a single introvert woman. I know it is harder for us introverts to find a relationship. Whether friend, lover, partner, etc. I am always somewhat fearful of rejection, so unlikely to make the first move.

Q: What did two introverts say to each other when they met on the street? A: Nothing.

I'm in a long-term exclusive, so not looking for that kind of situation. But it's hard for us intros to make even casual friends. What I do is put myself in situations where I can meet others with a commonality of interests. I have several friends from the community band that I play in. I go to art galleries, etc. When I used to drive several times a year from Boston to Kansas I think I visited every museum within 100 miles either side of Interstates 70, 80, and 90.:) I go to old car shows. I used to go to a firing range, although not for the last couple of years. And I go to church. I'm not a person of strong faith, but unless you're completely anti-religious, church is a great place to make acquaintances.

From your post in the loneliness thread. These all sound like solitary activities. But I guess you might meet someone at the gym. Maybe some women are into trucks. Not me, but I sure do see women driving trucks. Good luck!

I've been trying to find social groups around the area. So far no luck. Thanks for the reply. :)

Hmmm perhaps some similar interest groups might be a way to get somewhere too...have any specialist hobbys that might lead you to groups...etc...women...friends...?
