    I call mine rules, that way I'm more likely to follow up.
    - make my bed as I wake up. It makes my room feel clean.
    - I must open some curtains or blinds in the morning and look for a sunrise.
    - eat at set times, so hunger doesn't impede my performance.

    While we certainly enjoy junk food on occasion, we simply don't stock it in the house.

    If I have a taste for potato chips or ice cream, I have to stop at the store and grab them.

    That's great in theory, but... if I didn't eat during planned snack times, I would not be functional due to low blood sugar.

    If you're out doing general errands and shopping that'll take just a few hours,
    don't take a full pack of cigarettes, carry barely enough to get by.
    That'll stop you from lighting up out of boredom.

    Keeping my living space tidy.

    I find it easier to organize my life if I keep my work and life space which overlap, neat.

    I think for you then those would be considered small scheduled meals.
    But for most people to maintain a healthy weight, between meal snacks have to be limited.

    I meditate regularly. It helps clear my mind and makes me feel better.
