Safe experimentation for male-to-male (transgender questions)

I found a thread on the old site talking about men wanting to experiment with homosexual oral sex. I wonder about this as I am a person anticipating gender transition. I have always felt most comfortable that I was transgender female with a lean to females (lesbianism). However, as I explore and accept the transition further, I am finding a desire to understand sexuality with men. Part of this is kissing, touch, sex and of course oral sex. So I guess ultimately my question to the forum is, how does someone like me go about finding platonic situations where I can experiment with this sort of thing safely? Coming out is slow and scary and there is a huge need for anonymity. This is a serious thing to need to understand.

The obvious answer for you and anyone whose sexuality or gender identity put them at a disadvantage when trying to find partners is to try online dating. That way you can state up front who you are, what you want, and who you're looking for. I use OKCupid and I know a few of our other members do, it's free so there's nothing to lose by trying.

Thank you for your response MSD. I had never thought of this oddly enough. I've dated people I've met online, but that has always been from going down the traditional route, with traditional relationships... which obviously always ends swiftly. I'll check out OKCupid and take it step-by-step.
