Questions about The Wolverine Continuity

    I just saw the movie and I'm a little confused as to when it occurred.

    Did it take place before the first X-Men movie? Without getting into spoilers, the credits sequences suggested that to me, but that's kind of silly.

    Also, Rila Fukushima practically steals the picture as Yukio. No way Wolverine picks Mariko over her. :rolleyes: I would gladly have traded the silly Viper/Genetics plot line for a Buddy movie with Wolverine and Yukio slicing their way to the top of the the Yakuza.
