Question of the Day #21: have you ever inspired someone to do something?

    Have you ever inspired someone to do something?
    By simply being you, not discussing it, not pushing it, not trying to convince anyone to do anything - just living your life in the way that is good to your conscience?
    How did it make you feel?

    Today a friend told me that spending time with me and in my home has inspired her to go back to a Vegetarian diet. It made me so happy, and happy for her.

    Sure...get in shape
    Get into martial arts
    Get into computers (even as a career)

    Haven't inspired anyone into science yet...hopefully, I can do that into the future.

    My job is a whole lot of tedium. Apathy easily corrodes people.

    When new guys see me always doing XYZ, they want to mimic.

    My parents have a hefty "volunteering" streak and that has rubbed off on me. Hopefully, I'm inspiring people who would otherwise sit on the sidelines to get out their and volunteer their time/expertise. I'd like to think my kids are inspired by the amount of things they do that I help with.
