There's a guide on the various protests happening today for President's Day.

How do you feel about "Not My President's Day"?

    From that article:
It’s telling that even as tens of thousands protested on Feb 5, the topic didn’t dominate Twitter trends or cable news discussions — instead, it was largely observed by those directly connected to activist networks. That’s a form of soft censorship: the events happened but were not given the spotlight that forces leaders to respond or the wider public to notice.

People turned out in every town even the small ones up here.
It's mildly amusing since this state goes red every time but we also have a huge amount of Federal and military or military adjacent employees.
They are all getting their walking papers and people are losing their shit.
Especially since the newly elected rightwing nutjob is just shrugging his shoulders and saying there is nothing he can do.
Fuck him very much. A disgrace to the Begich name.

    Juneau our capital.

Seward where bald eagles will eat your poodle.

Anchorage, the tiny town that thinks it's a big city.

Soldotna, do not go up to a strange house here. You will get shot.

Fairbanks. where it can go up to 95F in the summer to -65F in the winter but it's very dry so everything is okay.
